I'll stamp all over 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
